Does Deuteronomy 10:17 teach that there are many gods and lords?

De 10:17 "For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.

In the absolute sense, there is only one true God and Lord of all---Yahweh. However, the pagan nations worship other gods and lords. 1 Corinthians 10:20 states that these are demons:

"Rather, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons."(1 Cor. 10:20)

These are nothing but idols. "Therefore concerning the eating of things offered to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God but one. For even if there are so-called gods, whether in heaven or on earth---as there are many gods and many lords" (1 Cor. 8:4-5)

The verse (Deut. 10:17) is saying that whatever gods and lords the pagans worshiped, God is sovereign over them all. He is greater. He is more powerful. He is above them all.
