God gave Man (Adam and Eve) free will in the garden. But when man fell into sin, man's will became in bondage to sin. At salvation, man's will is freed.
When we go to heaven we won't choose sin anymore. Here are some reasons:
First, Satan won't be there to tempt us.
Second, the lessons of the consequences of the Fall will be so ingrained in us.
Third, the sight of people being punished in hell will deter us from choosing sin.
Fourth, we will have perfect insight into things. We will have perfect insight about the character of sin and see it clearly with all its ugliness.
Fifth, being rid of a sinful nature and having a new nature, we will have a perfect hatred of sin just like the Lord Jesus Christ
Sixth, we will be perfectly filled with the Holy Spirit, walking in Him.
Seventh, the sight of the glory of God will attract us to Him and will cause us to love Him even more with all our hearts.
Eighth, if God was chosen and loved here in this fallen world with significant temptation, then all the more there in heaven, where every single temptation would not be allowed.
