Is It Unjust For Someone Who Is Innocent (Jesus) To Die In Our Place?

Where is justice if an innocent Man was the one who died for our sins? If God is a just Judge, how could He ever allow that to happen?

Agree. It is indeed unjust if an innocent man would die for the crimes I made. The guilty should be punished. The innocent should go free.

However, here is something that we should know about Adam and the Lord Jesus. When God created humanity, in His wisdom, He created us with a Representative Head---Adam. Whatever happened to Adam was viewed as having happened to us. Adam as us acted for us. His being our representative was not symbolic. It was real. He truly represented us.

Ro 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned--

Ro 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners...

There is good news. Actually, there are two Representative Heads, the other one is the Lord Jesus Christ. As our representative, He could truly substitute us and act as us for us. His being our representative is not symbolic. It is real. He can truly represent us.

Since such is the case, Him dying for us is not unjust. After all, He is truly our representative. As such, he could truly represent us. It would be unjust for any other man to die for our crimes since any other man is not recognized by the courts of heaven as our representative.

The court only recognizes two representative heads of humanity that could act for them and act as them---Adam and Christ.

We were condemned in Adam, but we could be redeemed in Christ. You see, just as condemnation is by representation, so is redemption, it's by representation.

Yes, redemption is by a representative. Not by works of our own. Not by anything we do. No, it all depends on the work of a representative.

Ro 5:18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.

19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be made righteous.
