The word "glory" can mean many things, but one of its meanings is this---the manifested perfections, attributes and excellencies of God.
God is a perfect and excellent Being. His love is perfect and excellent. His holiness is perfect and excellent. His goodness is perfect and excellent. Everything in Him is perfect and excellent. He is loaded and heavy with perfections and excellencies.
To glorify God is to recognize Him for who He is and to manifest it. We see His wisdom in Creation, so we praise Him. We come to know of His love in the Cross of Christ and so we thank and praise Him for that and walk in love ourselves. We realize that He is holy and so we reflect that in our lives---we walk in holiness.
These are just examples of how we glorify God. Again, to glorify God is to recognize Him for who He is.
